Job Overview

We're seeking a dynamic and motivated physical and/or occupational therapy aide to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals pursuing a career in rehabilitative therapy. As an aide, you will gain valuable on-the-job exposure to physical therapy-based treatments, enhancing your chances of acceptance into professional school. This exposure will encompass a wide range of areas, including therapeutic exercises/activities, manual therapy, modalities, gait/balance, functional, strength, and mobility training. Bilingual speaking is a major plus. The position will begin with a preliminary onboarding/training and an assessment period.

Compensation

  • Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
  • Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship
  • Schedule: 4 hour shift, 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday
  • Work Location: In person

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to physical and/or occupational therapists in delivering treatments and therapies
  • Support patients during exercises and activities, ensuring their safety and comfort
  • Assist with modalities, gait/balance exercises, and mobility training
  • Maintain therapy equipment and ensure cleanliness of treatment areas
  • Document patient progress and report any changes to therapists
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care

Requirements

  • Prior experience or coursework in physical or occupational therapy is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
  • Korean language proficiency is preferred
  • Availability for day shift is preferred
  • Reliability in commuting to Los Angeles, CA 90020 or planning to relocate before starting work is required
