Oracle DBA with GOLDEN GATE 1116

Job Location

Westlake, TX 1 week a month

Job Overview

We are currently sourcing for an Oracle DBA to work in Durham, NC or Merrimack, NH!

Compensation

Visa: W2(USC/GC/H4/L2/GC-EAD/H1-B) ONLY, Friendly Hire

Responsibilities

Perform applications database administration (Oracle) services including SQL code review, performance analysis, query tuning, database application design, physical data modeling, development support & Engineering
Set up, install, and manage multisite databases using Oracle GoldenGate replication
Experience with cloud database platforms on Linux environments
Quickly diagnose problem areas and provide solutions and/or workarounds
Provide database support in all phases of SDLC, agile experience preferred
Collaborate with enterprise teams for Systems Administrators, Cyber Security, and Capacity Planning
Time leadership skills with ability to prioritize multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously
Self-motivated with strong team, interpersonal, and communication skills
Establish database standards for operations, upgrades, migrations, and onboarding new applications/clients
Advanced skills in SQL Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid control (OEM 12c), Linux shell scripting, and writing database monitoring jobs in PL/SQL
Strong Linux shell scripting experience preferred
Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain flexibility
Develop and drive database administration strategies and initiatives as per team needs

Requirements

BS in Computer Science or equivalent desirable
Experience in Oracle DBA with GOLDENGATE and AWS
Ability to work in Westlake, TX 1 week a month
Strong time leadership skills with willingness and ability to prioritize multiple projects/initiatives at the same time
Self-motivated with strong team, interpersonal, and communication skills
