Job Overview

  • The Manager, Corporate Communications, leads all aspects of PR work related to our corporate strategy at Porsche Cars North America.
  • Exciting and fast-paced role that allows you to contribute to corporate, product, and lifestyle projects.
  • Responsibilities include generating PR programs, drafting press releases and briefing documents, preparing and shadowing executive interviews, and working with CEO-level colleagues.
  • Crisis experience, knowledge of US corporate media titles, and relationships with media are important.
  • This role is part of the PR leadership team at Porsche Cars North America.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and enact the Corporate Communications PR Plan for PCNA.
  • Lead a team to seek out and deliver press activity ideas to amplify Porsche AG and Porsche Cars North America.
  • Provide support, guidance, and leadership to direct reports and the wider team.
  • Work with PR colleagues at Porsche AG to ensure policy and news announcements are relevant to our market.
  • Take a leading role in crisis communications planning and responses.
  • Manage PCNA's CSR-related PR programs.

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in communications and a 360° communications expertise.
  • Experience in working with traditional and social media in automotive or tech industries.
  • Experience in executive visibility in external and internal communications.
  • Experience in crisis communications.
  • Ability to manage complex topics and multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong execution and coordination skills.
  • Professional-level proficiency in English; spoken and written German skills are advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexible, energetic, collaborative, detail-oriented, highly motivated.
  • Self-starter and strong multi-tasker.
  • Ethical in all dealings, understands the importance of integrity and compliance.
  • Willingness to travel (10%) domestically and internationally.
