Internship Participant Coordinator
Job Location
IPS – Internship Placement Program – Brooklyn, Bronx or Manhattan Locations and travel to internship sites.
Job Overview
Join our team as an Internship Participant Coordinator and make a difference in the lives of college students. In this role, you will provide guidance and support to internship participants, ensuring their successful experience in our program.
Compensation
- Salary level: $22-$30 per hour
- Health Insurance Benefits Included?: Yes
Responsibilities
- Provide initial and ongoing orientation to nonprofit site supervisors to ensure a quality program.
- Assist internship participants with understanding their rights and responsibilities.
- Monitor and guide interns in their activities related to attendance, internship placement, and evaluation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to provide initial and ongoing orientation to site supervisors.
- Knowledge of nonprofit programs.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse individuals.
