Part-time Forensic and/or Staff Consulting Intern
Job Location
Downtown and South Hills office locations, United States
Job Overview
- Immediate positions available for a part-time forensic and/or staff consulting intern.
- Work for a downtown forensic accounting firm specializing in financial and accounting analysis, fraud investigation, and damage analysis.
- Candidates need to possess or be pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, economics, or similar discipline.
- Position is effective immediately and will continue through the end of the calendar year with opportunities for continued work.
Compensation
- $12-15 per hour plus incentives and advancement commensurate with skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and summarize financial information.
- Create computer spreadsheets and models.
- Conduct internet research.
- Compile and summarize financial and other data.
- Perform document review.
- Conduct financial analysis.
- Assist in limited business report writing.
- Proofread various financial, consulting, and investigatory tasks.
Requirements
- Pursuing or possessing a degree in accounting, finance, economics, or other financial field.
- Experience with Microsoft Word (Preferred: 1 year).
- Experience with Microsoft Excel (Required: 1 year).
- Experience in accounting (Preferred: 1 year).
