Job Overview

At Northrop Grumman, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Exploit Development / Penetration Tester to join our team. This position will focus on vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and exploit development against our systems, products, and services. Compensation

Salary Range: $77,200 USD - $115,800 USD

  • Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay
  • Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions and share in company results
  • Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives
  • Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business

Responsibilities

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
  • Perform code analysis and hardware/binary reverse engineering
  • Evaluate system security configurations for effectiveness and exploitation opportunities
  • Develop and execute complete adversarial cyber testing scenarios
  • Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of Offensive Cyber Operations tools and Cyber Survivability Attributes
  • Prepare technical reports and briefings
  • Continually improve knowledge and capabilities

Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must have:

  • High School Diploma or GED, and 2 years of experience with Cyber Security, Red Team, Penetration Testing, or Exploit Development
  • Software development experience to support penetration testing
  • Proficiency in at least three (3) programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Python, Ruby, Perl, Bourne/Bash, PowerShell, Visual Basic, VBScript, PHP, Javascript, HTML
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 25% per year)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Top Secret security clearance and an SCI access level
