Job Overview

The Davidson College Fellows Program is seeking a Dean Rusk Advisor/Events Fellow to join their team in summer 2023. This is a full-time, entry-level position that may extend for another year. The Fellow will be responsible for advising students on grant proposals and assisting with speaker events that align with the DRISP mission.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an Advisor to help students submit strong Dean Rusk grant proposals.
  • Attend evening programming events for the DRISP, greeting guests, taking photos, and assisting with technology set-up needs for speakers.
  • Develop international internship opportunities for Dean Rusk.
  • Assist with developing programs and events, both virtual and in-person.
  • Work directly with the Dean Rusk Director and assist with any projects/tasks.

Requirements

  • Must be a member of the Davidson Class 2023 or recent graduate who has been out of school for no more than two years.
  • Strong desire to support International Studies programs and initiatives.
  • Proficiency with computer skills (Google and MS Office, Internet, social media, HTML) desired.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
