Job Overview

In this paid summer program, you'll have the opportunity to work with Altria and contribute to shaping the future while delivering top results. As an Analytical Chemistry Co-op, you'll utilize state-of-the-art instrumentation to implement chemical and physical characterization of products and materials. You'll receive on-the-job training, access to mentors, and opportunities to grow your leadership skills. Join us and be challenged to:

  • Work on projects relevant to current business opportunities, collaborating with our team and cross-functional partners
  • Implement analytical testing on the properties of materials, processes, and products for the Altria family of companies
  • Document project work in formal reports and present findings/recommendations to Senior Management upon course completion

Responsibilities

Requirements

To be eligible for this 3–4-month co-op position, you must:

  • Be a rising junior or rising senior at the time of the co-op in good academic standing
  • Be pursuing a relevant undergraduate Chemistry or Chemical Engineering degree
  • Have strong communication, analytical, and creative thinking skills, along with exhibited leadership initiative
