Job Overview
Heights District is seeking an Experienced Designer who specializes in conceptualizing and creating items for MEN'S & WOMEN STREETWEAR CLOTHING. With both a local and overseas factory, this position offers significant growth potential, including commissions and bonus pay based on performance. Multiple brands will be created for wholesale and retail markets.
Compensation
- Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
- Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Internship

- Dallas, TX 75247: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Responsibilities
- Understand Street Wear Culture; stay up to date with new trends in Entertainment, Sneakers, Music & Sports
- Create seamless patterns, print-ready graphics, etc. for fabric and shirts
- Conduct market research to identify new trends, select styles, fabrics, colors & trims for collections
- Work with product development team to initiate material selection, establishing key plus points & seasonal directions
- Collaborate closely with the design team to translate concepts, make edits, and incorporate trends in the seasonal range and core product lines
- Create tech packs
- Review products for style and fitting during presentations and make callouts for correction
Requirements
- Advance skills in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
- Ability to design Graphic T-shirts & prints related to Street Wear Fashion
- Extensive knowledge in fabrics & garment construction
- Excellent color acuity
- Previous experience as a designer in multiple product categories
- Ability to multi-task, solve problems, and make decisions
- Demonstrate an ability to work effectively within and/or lead a team, providing guidance to members
