Job Overview

Heights District is seeking an Experienced Designer who specializes in conceptualizing and creating items for MEN'S & WOMEN STREETWEAR CLOTHING. With both a local and overseas factory, this position offers significant growth potential, including commissions and bonus pay based on performance. Multiple brands will be created for wholesale and retail markets.


  • Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
  • Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Internship

    • Dallas, TX 75247: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)


  • Understand Street Wear Culture; stay up to date with new trends in Entertainment, Sneakers, Music & Sports
  • Create seamless patterns, print-ready graphics, etc. for fabric and shirts
  • Conduct market research to identify new trends, select styles, fabrics, colors & trims for collections
  • Work with product development team to initiate material selection, establishing key plus points & seasonal directions
  • Collaborate closely with the design team to translate concepts, make edits, and incorporate trends in the seasonal range and core product lines
  • Create tech packs
  • Review products for style and fitting during presentations and make callouts for correction


  • Advance skills in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
  • Ability to design Graphic T-shirts & prints related to Street Wear Fashion
  • Extensive knowledge in fabrics & garment construction
  • Excellent color acuity
  • Previous experience as a designer in multiple product categories
  • Ability to multi-task, solve problems, and make decisions
  • Demonstrate an ability to work effectively within and/or lead a team, providing guidance to members
