Job Overview
The Arts Alliance, a non-profit arts education organization, is seeking a Theatre and Voice Instructor to help launch our Theatre program for Fall 2023. We are looking for applicants with a background in Theatre, voice/singing, and working with children. This is a part-time, contract position with the opportunity to teach additional classes as needed.
Compensation
Pay is $18-$25 per class depending on experience. Classes range from 30 minutes to an hour and a half.
Responsibilities
- Teach Theatre and Voice classes following curriculum guidelines.
- Create and organize lesson plans.
- Provide acting and audition prep experience in Theatre, Musical Theatre, or Voice.
- Ensure a safe and engaging learning environment.
Requirements
- Experience teaching in a studio, one-on-one setting, or completion of a pedagogy class/degree.
- Background in Theatre, voice/singing, and working with children.
- Ability to make lesson plans following curriculum and be organized.
- College students pursuing a related degree are considered.
- Must have references and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check prior to hiring.
