Job Overview

An ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently. This rare opening is ideal for an attorney, ready to take their career to the next level with a highly reputable class action firm. We work closely with CELA, NELA and other state and national organizations.

Compensation

Pay: $44.00 - $52.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing, researching and drafting briefs
  • Addressing sophisticated legal issues in complex litigation
  • Motion work including motions for class certification, motions to dismiss, summary judgment and pre-trial motions
  • Taking and defending depositions
  • Briefing and arguing dispositive and discovery motions
  • Interfacing with clients and opposing counsel
  • Attendance of hearings

Requirements

Experience:

  • Civil litigation: 3-5 years (Required)
  • Class action work: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • California Bar License (Required)
