Business Excellence Co-Op/Intern
Job Location
Andover, MA
Job Overview
We are seeking a Business Excellence Co-Op/Intern to join our team and assist with back-office operations including logistics, supply chain, finance, and customer service. In this role, you will work closely with the Business Excellence Manager and collaborate on various ongoing projects.
Compensation
- Paid position
- 40 hours per week
- Co-op/internship starting in January 2023
- Potential for part-time continuation depending on performance, business need, and location
- Occasional work from home opportunities
Responsibilities
- Participate in project pipeline discussions
- Analyze current business operations through VOC surveys, data analysis/mining, and process mapping
- Assist in improving staff workflows to enhance the customer experience
- Contribute to reducing waste and inefficiencies in operations
- Support lean initiatives, including planning and performing Kaizen events
- Develop and implement methods improvements
- Maintain process documentation
- Participate in special projects, potentially including artificial intelligence and machine learning
Requirements
- Working towards a degree in industrial engineering, math, statistics, or a related field
- Must have transportation to and from the internship
