Job Overview

BusPatrol is seeking an Accounts Payable Co-op to join our team. As a leader in school bus safety and enforcement solutions, we are dedicated to ensuring the safety of children during their daily commute. In this role, you will support our Accounting team by assisting with payment processing, issuing refunds, and providing finance-related assistance to our call center. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience in the accounting field while making a meaningful impact on pupil transportation safety.

Compensation

  • Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
  • Benefits: Paid time off

Responsibilities

  • Assist with payment processing for check payments
  • Issue check and credit card refunds as needed
  • Provide finance-related support to the call center
  • Record returned checks as needed
  • Support the Accounting team with end-of-month reconciliation

Requirements

  • Student in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills
  • Some accounting or bookkeeping experience would be an asset
