Job Overview

  • Fellowship duration: May 30th-August 18th, 2023
  • COVID-19 Note: In-person work with some work from home available. Vaccination and face masks required for in-person work.

Compensation

  • $900/week stipend

Responsibilities

  • Organize and expand curriculum for future school expansion
  • Develop and create lesson plans
  • Update decks with creativity and culturally relevant content
  • Design social media assets for Instagram and Tik Tok
  • Participate in weekly professional development responsibilities
  • Attend virtual and in-person leadership training and gatherings

Requirements

  • Commitment to working with underserved youth and marginalized communities
  • Prior experience in social media/marketing preferred
  • Background in education or an education major
  • Commitment to continuous professional improvement and reflection
  • Resourcefulness and initiative
  • Passion for the social sector
  • Patience and tolerance to address problems
  • Integrity and ability to work independently and in a team
