Job Location
New Orleans, LA
Job Overview
The New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans are seeking a Community Relations Associate to join our team. In this role, you will assist with executing community initiatives and enhancing the positive image of our brands. This is a ten-month intern-level position, offering exposure to the business side of sports in both the NFL and NBA. You will work full-time hours and collaborate with various departments within our organization.
Compensation

Responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day execution of Pelicans and Saints Community Relations programs/initiatives
- Lead the execution of the Pelicans Player pass-player community ticket program
- Collaborate with Marketing, Game Operations, Communications, Digital, Video Production, and Broadcast departments to create awareness of community initiatives
- Support the organization of various community events such as school assemblies, ribbon cuttings, and outreach efforts
Requirements
- Recent college graduate from an accredited College or University
- Experience working with community programs, non-profit, civic, and community groups
- Personable, assertive, and articulate
- Excellent writing, organizational, and planning skills
- Ability to express ideas clearly, concisely, and logically
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with internal and external constituents
- Self-starter capable of managing multiple tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Availability to work after normal business hours, weekends, and some holidays
