Job Overview
We are a non-profit organization that provides therapeutic recreation programs for children and adults with developmental disabilities. We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to work with our participants at our summer day camp for children and teens with special needs. This is a fun and rewarding job that is perfect for those looking to make a little money while being a part of something bigger!
Compensation
- Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
- Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Internship
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead 4 (sometimes 5) 25-minute activities for a group of 8-10 campers.
- Groups will consist of campers aged 4-21, separated into different age groups.
- Ensure a safe and enjoyable summer camp experience for participants.
Requirements
- Must have a reliable means of transportation.
- Ability to commute or relocate to Briarcliff Manor, NY.
- Availability to commit to all weeks of camp.
- Must be creative, energetic, and flexible.
