Job Overview
X is Alphabet's moonshot factory, dedicated to building and launching technologies that aim to have a 10x impact on the world's most intractable problems. As a Moonshot Intern at X, you will be embedded in a moonshot project and collaborate with team members to solve key challenges. This isn't your ordinary internship - you'll be positively challenged and pushed professionally to make a huge, positive impact on the world.
Compensation
The US base salary range for this position is $64,000 - $85,000 + benefits. In addition to competitive compensation, you will receive Google benefits and be part of a lively community of other Interns and Residents.
Responsibilities
- Lead market sizing, competitive and regulatory analyses, and value chain mapping for projects
- Help identify key risks and stress-test them as quickly as possible
- Review economic models in partnership with product managers and Finance
- Present findings to cross-functional project leadership
- Work cross-functionally to de-risk non-technical aspects of projects
- Engage with the Internship community and have fun!
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an MBA program
- Current MBA student with an undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, economics, or related quantitative field
- 2+ years of work experience in software, robotics, manufacturing, management consulting, finance, or venture capital
- Strong strategy and analytical skills
- Good problem-solving abilities and independent thinking
- Can-do attitude and willingness to learn new tools and content
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Optional: Experience with AI & ML, robotics or supply chain, financial modeling
