Job Overview
- North East Westchester Special Recreation is a non-profit organization that provides therapeutic recreation programs for children and adults with developmental disabilities.
- We are looking for dedicated and reliable staff to work with our participants at our summer day camp for children and teens with special needs.
- Help make this summer fun for campers with special needs! It's a fun and rewarding job that is perfect for people looking to make a little money as well as be a part of something bigger!
Compensation
- Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
- Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Internship
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead 4 (sometimes 5) 25-minute activities for a group of 8-10 campers in different age groups (ages 4-21).
- Specialists needed in Gym, Outdoor Games, Movement/Fitness, Art, Dance, and Outdoor Education.
Requirements
- Must have a reliable means of transportation.
- Ability to commute/relocate to Briarcliff Manor, NY.
- Must be available for all weeks of camp.
- Orientations:
- June 14th 4pm-7pm
- June 22nd 1pm-5pm (Parent Night 6pm-8:30pm)
- June 23rd 9am-1pm
- Camp Dates: June 26th through August 4th
- Camp Hours: 8:45am-3:00pm
