Job Overview

The Department of Social Services (DSS) is seeking a Human Resources Strategy Project Manager to join their team. In this role, you will provide analytical and administrative support to advance the work of the Human Resources Solutions in the Executive Office of the Chief People Officer. You will be responsible for managing the DSS Internship Office, overseeing recruitment and onboarding, and implementing standardized protocols and procedures. Additionally, you will manage multiple special projects and provide project status reports to managers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the DSS Internship Office, including recruitment, onboarding, and orientation of interns and fellows
  • Design, develop, and implement standardized protocols and procedures for the Internship Office
  • Collect and analyze intern data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements
  • Maintain and develop partnerships with providers and universities to source potential interns
  • Manage multiple special projects, ensuring deadlines are met and producing high-quality reports and analyses
  • Report and analyze project status to managers
  • Lead, delegate, and coordinate activities related to project deliverables
  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of Special Projects for the Chief People Office
  • Compose Commissioner Vetting letters and update the Vetting tracker
  • Attend meetings and draft communications on behalf of the Executive Director of Strategy and HR Innovation
  • Represent the Agency in recruitment events and career fairs

Requirements

  • A master's degree or a bachelor's degree with two years of relevant professional experience
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in preparing comprehensive qualitative and quantitative analytical reports
