Immigration Paralegal Intern
Job Location
Clearwater, FL
Job Overview
Gain valuable experience as an Immigration Paralegal Intern while undergoing specialized immigration paralegal education training. This is a 4-6 month internship opportunity in our office.
Compensation
$12 - $16 per hour after successful completion of training
Responsibilities
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
- Conduct follow-up calls as required
- Prepare immigration applications
- Draft Asylum and Waiver Briefs
- Organize folders
- Schedule/calendar case-related matters and track deadlines
- Communicate with clients, experts, and witnesses
- Support litigation-related work of assigned cases - in-house and in court
- Provide leadership in firm marketing and outreach activities
- Participate in management meetings as required
- Perform any other activities mandated by company management
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Highly motivated with the ability to operate well under pressure and minimal supervision
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Excellent written and oral skills
