Job Overview

  • Full-time, tenure-track appointment
  • Strong teaching focus in Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Social Work, or related field
  • Provides leadership to division faculty and oversees undergraduate and graduate programs
  • Responsible for chairing the undergraduate Behavioral Science major program, budget planning and administration, assessment oversight, course planning, mentoring adjunct instructors, and completing summer work

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver courses in a variety of formats, including online and hybrid modalities
  • Teach core and specialized courses in the discipline area
  • Flexibility in class scheduling to meet the needs of the college

Requirements

  • Earned doctorate
  • At least 5 years of experience as a full-time faculty member
  • At least 3 years of administrative and/or operational experience in academic leadership roles
  • Demonstrated strengths in leadership, administration, and teaching
  • All required documents must be submitted for the application to be reviewed
