Job Overview

  • Provide consulting to employers on Job Service North Dakota (JSND) services
  • Demonstrate JSND website features related to resume searches, labor market information, and job postings
  • Provide resource information related to training, apprenticeships, and economic development
  • Introduce new employers to offered services
  • Educate employers on state and federal resources such as WOTC, internship funding, and training
  • Plan and organize community hiring events and career exploration fairs
  • Coordinate in-house job fairs with employers and promote to job seekers
  • Promote events through various channels such as VOS, social media, email campaigns, radio and news, and advertising materials
  • Cultivate relationships throughout the community including boards, chambers, economic development associations, and other workforce programming partners
  • Represent the organization on committees and task forces
  • Prepare and deliver public addresses at events as needed
  • Maintain files and records for each business, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure program benchmarks are met and complete necessary paperwork and reports
  • Provide customers with a supportive and assistive environment, informing them of available services and giving appropriate referrals
  • Travel required for outreach to employers and communities in surrounding counties

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $4003 - 4670 /month
  • Full-Time Position up to 40hrs/week

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Associate degree
  • Four years of work experience performing customer or employment service duties
  • Additional education can substitute for years of experience
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to working with and serving area businesses
  • Preference given to applicants with group facilitation/presentation experience
