Job Overview

Cambridge Marketing Concepts, a rapidly growing marketing agency, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth for the company. Working closely with our marketing and sales teams, you will develop and implement effective strategies for winning new business and expanding our client base. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

Compensation

  • Pay: $65,875.43 - $110,000.00 per year

    • 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday
  • Supplemental pay types:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's (Preferred)
  • Experience:
    • Business development: 3 years (Required)
    • Sales: 3 years (Required)
  • Willingness to travel:
    • 25% (Preferred)
  • Work Location: In person

Responsibilities

  • Must have a strong existing relationship with clients located in the United States in the custom software development or IT field.
  • Manage client-focused strategies and action plans that respond to client challenges and issues and create a competitive advantage for the firm to successfully obtain the work.
  • Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities and ensure the right suite of services to pitch to the client.
  • Primary responsible for covering the full process of turning a lead into a customer.
  • Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners and discovering and exploring opportunities.
  • Be proactive and conduct regular research to identify new clients and markets, and build relationships at the highest possible corporate level.
  • Enhance the organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests as assigned.
  • Revenue generation through new and existing clients.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering or Business Administration (Master's Degree preferred) and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience in custom software development.
  • Strong experience in project development or business development with a primary focus on the United States market.
  • Proven ability to achieve success in unknown environments or markets, with experience in building up relationships with new partners and customers.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Able to work on targets and achieve goals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across multi-functional and multi-national teams and with executive management.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office package, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
