Tutor at Chan Tutoring Center

Job Location

18th Ave between 60th and 61st street

Job Overview

  • Chan Tutoring Center is seeking experienced tutors or teachers to provide in-person 1-on-1 instruction for K-6th grade students.
  • Our center focuses on K-8 Graders.

Compensation

  • Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and negotiable.
  • Job Types: Part-time

Responsibilities

  • Teach common core materials, specifically Reading, Math, and Writing.
  • Check and correct student work.
  • Assist students' needs during class time.
  • Communicate with our director on a daily basis.

Requirements

  • Teaching experience is preferred.
  • Teacher Certifications are a plus!
  • Must be able to maintain a professional teaching attitude to control students.
  • Bilingual in Chinese and English is a plus.
