Job Location
18th Ave between 60th and 61st street
Job Overview
- Chan Tutoring Center is seeking experienced tutors or teachers to provide in-person 1-on-1 instruction for K-6th grade students.
- Our center focuses on K-8 Graders.
Compensation
- Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and negotiable.
- Job Types: Part-time
Responsibilities
- Teach common core materials, specifically Reading, Math, and Writing.
- Check and correct student work.
- Assist students' needs during class time.
- Communicate with our director on a daily basis.
Requirements
- Teaching experience is preferred.
- Teacher Certifications are a plus!
- Must be able to maintain a professional teaching attitude to control students.
- Bilingual in Chinese and English is a plus.
