This job post is for a Summer Junior Fellowship in Data Engineering at Havas Media. The Junior Fellowship program provides university students with a meaningful learning and development opportunity. Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand problems and deliver high-quality data solutions
  • Gather requirements and understand data needs from Engineers, Product Managers, and Analysts
  • Assist in architecting and implementing new data models and processes
  • Build data visualizations using tools like Tableau and Power BI
  • Contribute to the company's knowledge base through technical documentation and case studies

Requirements

  • Strong record of academic and/or professional achievements
  • Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Data Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or related disciplines
  • Knowledge of SQL and ability to handle data transformation and wrangling
  • Programming knowledge in Python or Java
  • Strong quantitative and research skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Understanding of the online advertising ecosystem and performance metrics
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Data Studio
  • Experience with data transformation systems (Airflow, dbt) and data warehouses (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake)
