Job Overview

At FotoLab, New York City's first self-portrait studio, we're seeking a dynamic and multi-talented team member to join us. As our growth and operations specialist, you will wear multiple hats and dive into diverse roles. From front desk customer service to camera troubleshooting to driving our social media growth, you will be the Swiss army knife of our operation.

Compensation

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer service and receptionist duties, including printing photos, checking in guests, and ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Demonstrate camera usage to customers and assist them in adjusting camera settings for optimal self-portrait results.
  • Contribute to our growth strategy by assisting in social media marketing efforts and building local partnerships.
  • Create engaging content, manage posts, and interact with our followers to build a vibrant community.

Requirements

Preferences:

  • Experience with excellent customer service and basic camera settings preferred. However, we can teach everything to the right motivated individual!
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
  • Solid multitasking capabilities and organizational skills are desired.
  • Familiarity with various social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube) and basic understanding of social media marketing strategies.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree or coursework in photography, marketing, or related fields would be a bonus.
