Job Overview

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join our educational institute. As an Art Teacher, you will be responsible for assisting the senior teacher in the classroom, adapting the curriculum, organizing the classroom, and engaging students in the learning process.

Compensation

  • Job Types: Part-time, Internship
  • Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
  • Schedule:
    • 4 hour shift
    • After school
    • Evening shift
    • Monday to Friday
    • Weekend availability
  • Ability to commute/relocate: Fremont, CA 94538: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Long term commitment towards the job position: To start with minimum 1 year commitment.
  • Positive attitude towards students, staff, and customers.
  • Enthusiastic towards work and taking responsibility as a teacher.
  • Commitment towards work and students as it’s an educational institute.
  • Assisting Class under senior teacher's direction and understanding the process
  • Adapting the course curriculum and finding unique way to teach students.
  • Preparing material and Organizing classroom/students according to their course level and lesson.
  • Always enthusiastic towards teaching kids and quickly grasping new art project ideas.
  • Polite communication and finding different ways to grab the attention of students towards learning process.
  • Bringing new project ideas and involving as a team to be more creative and artistic.
  • Ready to be involved for online teaching when it is scheduled.
  • Keeping students in the classroom well organized and disciplined.

Requirements

  • Teaching Art: 1 year (Required)
  • Health Guidelines: Candidate should be healthy in general and not having any big health issues which can interrupt day to day work.
