Job Overview
Our team at Total Performance Strength & Conditioning is seeking a motivated Strength Coach to join us. We offer competitive compensation based on experience, a results-driven environment, and plenty of autonomy within the workspace. We prioritize finding the best fit in abilities and values, so while we want to hire as soon as possible, we will take the necessary time to make the right decision.
Compensation
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Coaching, Coaching, and more Coaching (1-1, small-group, large-group, team training)
- Programming
- Research/Education
- Data collection and analysis
- Client communication
- Daily "housekeeping" tasks and facility maintenance
Requirements
To be a great coach here, you need a solid educational background and experience in anatomy, physiology, and exercise science. While a strength & conditioning certification (CSCS) or Exercise Science BS or MS is highly preferred, it is not required. However, if you lack professional hands-on experience and have only trained friends and family, we encourage you to gain experience in various health and fitness settings before applying, especially for our intern position.
