Responsibilities

  • Design Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) services with a focus on sustainable design.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants to develop integrated solutions for complex buildings.
  • Perform engineering analysis and modeling, including whole building load calculations, energy analysis, facade thermal analysis, and airflow modeling.
  • Document system design using Revit MEP.
  • Communicate technical ideas to diverse audiences through presentations and workshops.
  • Write reports documenting calculation methods, design assumptions, and other technical information.
  • Prioritize effectively and balance assigned work in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Influence sustainable outcomes for clients to align with Arup's sustainability commitment.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Architectural Engineering, or Building Sciences.
  • Coursework in heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, or HVAC design.
  • Developing interest in the built environment.
  • Proven leadership experience and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas clearly.
  • Attitude of taking initiative, enthusiasm, eagerness to learn, teamwork, and creativity.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for team-based working.
  • Presentation skills with colleagues and clients of all levels.
  • Candidate must be eligible to work in the US without employer sponsored work authorization.
