Job Overview
Meritage Home's is a top 10 builder dedicated to building energy-efficient homes and communities. We are offering a full-time Construction internship for summer 2024. As an intern, you will learn about the new home construction process within assigned communities. This includes ensuring homes are delivered on time, meeting budget targets, and achieving customer quality expectations. You will also have the opportunity to learn the broader business strategy and participate in cross-functional projects with other interns and business leaders.

Responsibilities
As a Construction intern, your responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with internal business leaders to learn about the homebuilding industry and the Meritage business model
- Gaining practical experience in an assigned functional area such as construction, land, marketing, operations, purchasing, finance, or human resources
- Understanding and applying our core values in your work
- Participating in cross-functional projects that tackle current business challenges
- Presenting real-world business recommendations to senior leadership
- Writing a paper focusing on your internship experience or another assigned topic
Requirements
