Job Overview
As an Electrical Engineering intern at Stryker, you will have the opportunity to impact the development and manufacturing of cutting-edge products in the medical technology industry. You will work with a supportive team of engineers and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and growing industry. This internship will allow you to apply your classroom knowledge and implement new ideas while developing your skills.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on engineering projects related to product development
- Conduct deep dive investigations and drive collaboration to achieve issue resolution
- Work closely with critical suppliers to ensure components and manufacturing processes meet required standards
- Support internal cross-functional teams and external sales team and customers to ensure the highest product quality
- Research new technologies, customer expectations, business requirements, and regulations
- Experiment with early prototypes and vet out product designs in the test lab
- Collaborate with design and operations to deliver best-in-class new products to market
- Improve manufacturing lines through new fixture development, process enhancement, and implementation of lean manufacturing principles
Requirements
- Currently working on completion of Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field or equivalent
- Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require employment-based sponsorship
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
- Ability to exercise independent judgment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Proven leadership and business acumen skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience with circuit design and troubleshooting preferred
- Familiarity with CAD tools and programming/simulation preferred
- Demonstrated ability to operate small hand tools, power tools, and test/inspection equipment
