Digital Product Analyst/Manager Intern

Job Location

Remote: open to all candidates regardless of location

Job Overview

The intern will serve as a digital product analyst/manager for the Digital Store Services product team at Signet Jewelers. They will be responsible for an end-to-end epic focused on streamlining the in-store Custom Design process at Signet.

Compensation

The salary range for this opportunity is $18.00-$19.50/hour. Base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.

Responsibilities

  • Intro (Week 1):

    • Discuss the work and timelines during the internship.
    • Schedule Meet & Greets with cross-functional teams and business partners.
  • Epic Discovery (Weeks 2-4)

    • Conduct independent research and work with epic team members (Technology, XD, Analytics, etc.), stakeholders, and vendor partners to define the problem/opportunity and business case.
    • Complete the Epic Briefs.
  • Epic Refinement (Weeks 5-9)

    • Work with Epic team members to further refine the acceptance criteria (A/C) that will drive solutions to the problem and opportunity defined in the Epic Briefs.
    • Identify phased approach (if any) and choose feature to begin with.
    • Work with feature team members to create a comprehensive feature brief (problem, solution, KPIs/reporting, designs, story map, etc.).
  • Epic/Delivery Sync (Week 10-11)

    • Hand off defined feature brief(s) to the delivery team. Meet with Delivery Team Product Owner and Systems analyst to work on User story mapping.
  • Internship Summer Presentation (Week 12)

    • Presentations on the work completed during the summer internship.
  • Throughout Internship

    • Conduct 1-on-1s with cross-functional team members, business partners, domain PMs, and cross-domain PMs to understand impacts to help aid in the epic definition and solutioning process.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Graduation date of May 2025 preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with the Agile framework of product management/development preferred.
