Job Overview

As a Data Analytics intern at Stryker, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and growing industry setting. You will apply your classroom knowledge, implement new ideas, and develop your skills. Compensation

  • $18.00 min hourly wage
  • $28.00 max hourly wage
  • Either paid corporate housing or a living stipend dependent upon hiring location.

Responsibilities

  • Visualize and translate data to bring insight to cross functional leaders and teams
  • Provide tools to increase efficiency and enable employees to perform their tasks by streamlining information
  • Support inventory strategy and supply and product forecasting models (Operations)
  • Provide the sales organization with information, content, and tools to increase sales productivity and effectiveness (Sales)
  • Deliver trusted data focusing on agility and scalability, enabling improved partner experiences, driving future globalization, process excellence, and cost transformation (Business Data Governance)
  • Establish key business metrics, predictions, and insights for data-driven decisions (Commercial)
  • Analyze and develop visualizations/dashboards of Stryker’s internal datasets to provide insights and support informed decision-making for business units and customers (Data Intelligence)

Requirements

  • Currently working on completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent
  • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require employment-based sponsorship now or in the future
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Proven leadership and business acumen skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills
