Job Location

Primarily remote position with monthly in-office days

Job Overview

As a Digital Communications Intern, you will work on our Digital Product Operations team to assist with executing change management and communication strategies to support Digital product and project roadmaps.

Compensation

The salary range for this opportunity is $18.00-$19.50/hour. Base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with Digital product teams and banner/business partners.
  • Educate, inform, and support stakeholder groups across the company in support of Digital Product releases.
  • Provide regular recurring communication to banner, store, Customer Connection Center, and support teams regarding current and planned product team activity.
  • Keep stakeholders and senior leadership apprised of implementation progress on designated initiatives.
  • Work with everyone from executives to interns to help deliver a world-class internal digital communication experience. Using internal communications channels that are both new and tried and true, you'll tap into your concise consultation, thoughtful strategy, and excellent writing under a deadline.
  • You'll help manage several internal communications programs, develop communications plans, launch new communications channels, and develop content. You'll help us strengthen our capabilities in storytelling, and partner consultation through multiple communication channels, our Digital Town Hall, and in-person employee events throughout the year.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Graduation date of May 2025 preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Canva, and other presentations and communications tools
  • Strong Listening, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to translate information into understandable terms for a variety of audiences.
  • Attentive to detail with a focus on accurate and timely results.
  • Creative, always looking to make improvements on what exists and helping to find the next best thing.
