Job Overview

Join KPMG's fast-growing Advisory practice as an Intern in the Modeling, Credit, and Liquidity team. In this role, you will provide valuable support in modeling and valuation, utilizing advanced statistical and econometric techniques. As part of a collaborative team, you will have the opportunity to develop sophisticated financial models and enhance your skills in risk management.

Compensation

Salary Range: $86,000 per year

Responsibilities

  • Provide modeling and valuation support on engagements, including credit market operational liquidity risk evaluation
  • Utilize advanced statistical, mathematical, and econometric techniques to identify business behavior relationships
  • Assist in the development of financial and econometrics models to measure risk and enhance economic understanding
  • Conduct data mining and analytical methods using alternative data sources
  • Aid in economic theory support and perform economic and financial forecasting

Requirements

  • Enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Finance, Math, Statistics, Econometrics, or related fields
  • High competency level with programming software and risk analytical tools
  • GPA of 3.00 or above
  • Knowledge of statistics and economic theory
  • Strong technical aptitude and proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills
  • Reside within a commutable distance of the office
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
