Job Overview
Are you looking for an incredible career opportunity? Meritage Homes, a top 5 builder specializing in energy-efficient homes and communities, is seeking future leaders to join our internship program. This internship is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of our business and industry. As a Construction Intern, you will learn about the new home construction process, ensuring homes are delivered on time, within budget, and meet customer quality expectations. You will also have the opportunity to participate in cross-functional projects and make real-world business recommendations to senior leadership.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with internal business leaders to learn the homebuilding industry, Meritage's business model, and an assigned functional area (e.g. construction, land, marketing, operations, finance, human resources)
- Understand and apply our core values in day-to-day tasks
- Translate classroom experience into practical application during the internship
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects with other interns and business leaders
- Present business recommendations to senior leadership
- Write a paper focused on the internship experience or an assigned topic

- Actively enrolled in a degree program from a regionally accredited university or college
