Job Overview

As a Data Analytics intern at Stryker, you will have the opportunity to work in one of the following teams: Business Analytics or Information Technology. You will gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and growing industry setting and have the chance to apply your classroom knowledge. Compensation

  • Minimum hourly wage: $18.00
  • Maximum hourly wage: $28.00
  • Paid corporate housing or living stipend dependent upon hiring location.

Responsibilities

  • Support inventory strategy and supply and product forecasting models (Operations team)
  • Provide the sales organization with information, content, and tools to increase sales productivity and effectiveness (Sales team)
  • Deliver trusted data focusing on agility and scalability (Business Data Governance team)
  • Enable strategic performance by establishing key business metrics, predictions, and insights (Commercial team)
  • Analyze and develop visualizations/dashboards of internal datasets (Data Intelligence team)
  • Offer innovative technology products driven by data and analytics (Information Technology team)

Requirements

  • Currently working on completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent. We will only consider students who plan to be enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the summer.
  • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above. Must be the case at the date of hire and will be verified during background check in the spring.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require employment-based sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Able to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment.
  • Proficient in basic computer programs: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Proven leadership and business acumen skills.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
