Job Overview

In this 9-week paid internship, you will immerse yourself in a culture of continuous improvement and gain firsthand experience leading a retail team within a healthcare company. You will build sales and business plans, learn about staffing and colleague development, and understand how to run a purposeful business. This internship will also provide opportunities for field travel days, career spotlights, and a Capstone Project. Through these activities, you will develop your management and leadership skills, engage with support partners in the organization, and make a positive impact on the communities we serve.

Compensation

  • Hourly rate: $17
  • Hours per week: 35

Responsibilities

  • Successfully manage and motivate a store team
  • Develop sales and business plans
  • Learn about staffing and colleague development
  • Run a purposeful business
  • Participate in field travel days, career spotlights, and a Capstone Project

Requirements

  • Enrolled as a full-time or part-time undergraduate student in a college or university
  • Junior or Senior standing status
  • Pursuing a degree in a Business or Liberal Arts curriculum
  • If candidate has 2-year community college equivalent credit hours in Business or Liberal Arts curriculum, plus 2+ years of previous retail experience, they will also be considered
  • Available to work 35 hours per week on a flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends
