Job Overview
In this 9-week paid internship, you will have the opportunity to lead a retail team within a healthcare company. You will learn how to successfully manage and motivate a store team, build sales and business plans, and gain insights into staffing and colleague development. Through field travel days, career spotlights, and a Capstone Project, you will also make a direct impact on the communities our stores serve. This internship is designed to help you develop leadership skills while expanding your network within the organization.
Compensation
Hourly rate: $17 per hour Work hours: 35 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a store team
- Build sales and business plans
- Learn about staffing and colleague development
- Run a purposeful business
- Participate in field travel days
- Attend career spotlights
- Complete a Capstone Project
Requirements
- Must be enrolled as a full-time or part-time undergraduate student in a college or university
- Students must be of Junior or Senior standing status
- Pursuing a degree in Business or Liberal Arts curriculum
- Candidates with 2-year community college equivalent credit hours in Business or Liberal Arts curriculum and 2+ years of previous retail experience will also be considered
- Available to work 35 hours per week on a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and weekends
