Job Overview
Join our 9-week paid internship to experience firsthand what it’s like to lead a retail team within a healthcare company. Learn how to successfully manage and motivate a store team, build sales and business plans, and understand how to run a purposeful business. Participate in field travel days, attend career spotlights, and complete a Capstone Project. This internship is designed to help you learn how to lead a retail store team while growing your network within the organization.
Compensation
- Hourly rate: $17 per hour
- Hours per week: 35
Responsibilities
- Successfully manage and motivate a store team
- Build sales and business plans
- Learn about staffing and colleague development
- Understand how to run a purposeful business
- Participate in field travel days
- Attend career spotlights
- Complete a Capstone Project
Requirements
- Enrolled as a full-time or part-time undergraduate student in a college or university
- Junior or Senior standing status
- Pursuing a degree in a Business or Liberal Arts curriculum
- Candidates with 2-year community college equivalent credit hours in Business or Liberal Arts curriculum plus 2+ years of previous retail experience will also be considered
- Availability to work 35 hours per week on a flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends
