Job Overview
In this 9-week paid internship, you will have the opportunity to lead a retail team within a healthcare company. You will learn how to successfully manage and motivate a store team, build sales and business plans, and understand how to run a purposeful business. This internship will expose you to topics such as management and leadership, human resources, and asset protection. By participating in field travel days, attending career spotlights, and completing a Capstone Project, you will make a direct impact on the communities our stores serve. This is your chance to grow your network within the organization and gain valuable experience in leading a retail store team.
Compensation
- Hourly rate: $17 per hour
- Hours: 35 hours/week
Responsibilities
- Successfully manage and motivate a store team
- Build sales and business plans
- Learn about staffing and colleague development
- Run a purposeful business
Requirements
- Enrolled as a full-time or part-time undergraduate student in a college or university
- Junior or Senior standing status in a Business or Liberal Arts curriculum
- Candidates with 2-year community college equivalent credit hours in Business or Liberal Arts curriculum plus 2+ years of previous retail experience will also be considered
- Available to work 35 hours per week on a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and weekends
