KPMG is seeking an Advisory Intern for our CIO Advisory team in Consulting. As an intern, you will support the delivery and development of advisory services to clients in areas such as IT Strategy and Transformation, Cloud Transformation, Agile DevOps, IT Service Management, IT Asset Management, and Technology Business Management. Compensation

California Salary Range: $86,000 - $95,000

Responsibilities

  • Support delivery and development of advisory services in various areas of CIO Advisory Services, including IT Strategy and Transformation, Cloud Transformation, Agile DevOps, IT Service Management, IT Asset Management, and Technology Business Management.
  • Assist with projects involving information technology services, operating model design, business process definition, security and data integrity for business applications.
  • Provide professional execution of software licensing engagements, including license compliance reviews, software license optimization, and software asset management (SAM) engagements for clients across industries.
  • Support day-to-day activities of engagements, including the implementation of technologies such as ServiceNow, Apptio, Flexera, and Jira.
  • Research next-generation technology trends and architectures.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or a related program.
  • GPA of 3.00 or above.
  • Exposure to Software Development Life Cycle with relevant technologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall) preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge and awareness of Cloud technologies such as ITIL, AWS, Azure, GCP, and ServiceNow preferred but not required.
  • Understanding of IT organizations and tools used for managing IT software development and configuration practices, as well as cloud technology infrastructure foundations.
  • Strong technical aptitude and proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.
  • Must reside within a commutable distance of the office for this position and be responsible for your own transportation.
  • Work location may be in the office, at client sites, or virtual/remote depending on business need. You must be located within the U.S. when working remotely. Client site locations may require travel and overnight/extended stay.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
