Job Overview
As a Global Finance Financial Analyst Summer Associate based in Irvine, CA, you will play an active role within the Global Finance organization. You will have the opportunity to interact with various teams within and outside Global Finance, utilizing both the technical and interpersonal skills you are continuing to develop through your education. Your contributions will be meaningful as a member of the team.
Compensation
- Base Rate: $27/hour
- Individual annual performance bonus
- Capital's annual profitability bonus
- Retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings

Responsibilities
- Assist with managerial financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting
- Develop an understanding of business operations and key drivers
- Seek opportunities to streamline and improve the efficiency of reporting and processes
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Currently a junior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field with an anticipated graduation date of Spring 2025
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
- Demonstrated leadership in extra-curricular activities
- Highly curious and appreciative of problem-solving using sound judgment
- Energized by opportunities to gather information from various sources, synthesize it, present it in a distilled manner, and impact the outcome
- Proactively share your perspective by asking great questions and bouncing ideas off others
- Skilled communicator who thrives in team settings by being authentic, respectful, and engaging
- Proficient in using Excel to create complex formulas and data visualization tools to present findings
