Full Stack Software Development Intern

Job Overview

Verizon is seeking a motivated and driven student attending Florida A&M University to join our Full Stack Software Development internship program. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects that will enhance your skills in areas such as 5G Technology, AR/VR and Computer Vision, Application development, Back-end development, and more. Our award-winning Campus program provides interns with meaningful work and the chance to network with professionals across the globe.

Compensation

Hourly compensation based on a full-time schedule. Salary varies depending on location and skills/experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work on projects related to full stack software development
  • Collaborate with a team to deliver tangible business impact
  • Network with professionals and build meaningful relationships
  • Participate in assigned office days and work from home as required

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program at Florida A&M University in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related fields
  • Good academic standing
  • Ability to attend the Florida A&M University 2023 Fall Career & Internship Expo on 9/20
  • Availability for a hybrid 10-week internship from June 3, 2024-August 9, 2024
  • Strong scripting and coding skills, such as Python and Java
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions
  • Willingness to travel and work in an assigned Verizon office
