Full Stack Software Development Intern

Job Location

Hybrid internship with work-from-home and assigned office days in CA, GA, MA, NJ, TX, or CO. Relocation assistance may be available if required.

Job Overview

Verizon's Campus program offers internships, co-ops, and entry-level roles for students. As a Full Stack Software Development Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on projects in various areas, including 5G technology, AR/VR and Computer Vision, application development, back-end development, enterprise development, front-end development, analytics, mobile development, service APIs, web development, operating systems, and software engineering. This position is exclusively available to students from Florida A&M University attending the 2023 Fall Career & Internship Expo.

Compensation

Incentive-based position with potential for additional earnings. Compensation range varies based on location, skills, and experience.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program at Florida A&M University
  • Good academic standing
  • Able to attend the Florida A&M University 2023 Fall Career & Internship Expo on 9/20
  • Availability for a hybrid 10-week internship from June 3, 2024, to August 9, 2024
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at Florida A&M University in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related majors with a completion date between December 2024 and June 2026
  • Coursework or experience in scripting and coding (e.g., Python, Java)
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or future sponsorship needs
  • Willingness to travel and work in an assigned Verizon office
