Job Overview

  • The 10-12 week Accounting Internship at Liberty Mutual is designed to provide hands-on experience in finance and accounting within the insurance industry.
  • As an intern, you will be part of our corporate finance department, where you will have the opportunity to work in various accounting roles such as reporting, analysis, and data reconciliation.
  • You will receive on-the-job training, mentorship, and management support to enhance your skills and contribute to the team.
  • At the end of the internship, you may have the chance to explore positions within Liberty Mutual, a global Fortune 100 company.

Responsibilities

During your internship, you will:

  • Participate in various accounting roles, including reporting, analysis, and data reconciliation.
  • Receive on-the-job training, mentorship, and management support.
  • Contribute to the team and assist with assigned tasks and projects.

Requirements

To be considered for this internship, you should have:

  • 0-2 years of professional experience.
  • Undergraduate student working towards a Bachelor's degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Majoring in accounting with working knowledge of accounting practices and procedures.
  • Detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Availability for a full-time internship lasting 10-12 weeks.
