Job Overview
Join Liberty Mutual's collaborative underwriting team as an intern and unleash your analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. As an Underwriting Intern, you will work alongside experienced underwriters to determine the viability of writing policies and assess the fair price for associated risks. This 10-to-12-week internship will provide you with valuable experience in developing a profitable commercial book of business.

During this internship, your responsibilities will include:
- Learning how to develop a profitable commercial book of business
- Collaborating with experienced underwriters to assess risks and determine policy viability
Requirements
To qualify for this internship, you must:
- Have 0-2 years of professional experience
- Possess strong analytical, decision-making, and negotiating skills
- Demonstrate solid interpersonal skills and a passion for customer service
- Be willing to complete professional designations and continued insurance education post-graduation
- Be available to work full-time for a minimum of 10-12 weeks
- Have permanent work authorization in the United States
