KPMG, one of the leading firms in the advisory field, is currently seeking an Advisory Intern for our State and Local Solutions team in Consulting. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in a range of projects serving various banking and non-bank financial services companies. You will work on strategy, operating model design, transformation, implementation, and risk management. Compensation

  • California Salary Range: $86,000 - $86,000

Responsibilities

  • Participate in various projects for banking and non-bank financial services companies
    • Strategy, operating model design, transformation, implementation, testing, remediation, and risk management
    • Assist financial services clients in assessing compliance, regulatory expectations, and consumer protections
  • Conduct thorough research, data gathering, and analysis on new topic areas
  • Complete qualitative and quantitative data analysis and provide recommendations
  • Prepare findings and reports, communicating information in a clear and concise manner
  • Manage priorities, meet deadlines, and offer solutions to address challenges

Requirements

  • Enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing degrees in Information Systems and Technology, Computer Science, Applied Technology Management, Business & Computer Information, Business, Economics, Database Technology, Public Administration, Public Policy, Political Science, or equivalent program
  • Current/most recent GPA of 3.00 or above
  • Strong technical aptitude, critical thinking, and quantitative skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Project, and Visio
  • Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills
  • Flexible and adaptable team player
  • Must reside within a commutable distance of the office for this position and provide your own transportation
  • Work location may be in the office, at client sites, or virtual/remote within the U.S.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship
