As an Advisory Intern in the Technology Risk practice, you'll work on engaging activities related to risk, control, compliance, and internal audit. KPMG complies with local/state regulations regarding salary ranges. The offered salary is determined based on factors such as skills, performance, experience, and market considerations. KPMG also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental plans, vision coverage, 401(k), and personal well-being benefits. Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing risk, control, compliance, and internal audit engagements in areas such as IT strategy, cybersecurity, data management, automation, and business continuity.
  • Review IT processes, identify gaps, and communicate recommendations.
  • Collaborate with project managers to design and implement IT risk and control frameworks.
  • Prepare executive summaries and reports.
  • Contribute to meetings, knowledge bases, and internal practice development.
  • Present findings and recommendations to team and client leadership.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • GPA of 3.00 or above.
  • General understanding of business processes and technology.
  • Interest and aptitude for technology, including cloud, cybersecurity, and digital enablement.
  • Strong communication, time management, and leadership skills.
  • Must reside within a commutable distance of the office.
  • Flexible work arrangement may include in-office, client sites, or remote work within the U.S.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
