Job Overview

Meritage Homes is a top 5 builder dedicated to building energy-efficient homes and communities. We are seeking future leaders to join our internship program and help us continue to grow and solve business challenges. As a Construction intern, you will learn about the new home construction process within assigned communities, ensuring homes are delivered on time and meeting quality expectations. You will also participate in cross-functional projects with other interns and business leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with internal business leaders to learn the homebuilding industry and Meritage's business model
  • Gain practical application of classroom experience during the internship
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to address current business challenges
  • Present real-world business recommendations to senior leadership
  • Write a paper focusing on the internship experience or other assigned topic
  • Meritage Homes does not provide Visa sponsorship.

Requirements

  • Actively enrolled in a degree program from a regionally accredited university or college
  • Operating with integrity and always assuming positive intent
  • Desire to "win" and get things done
